William Marcus Natta was a brilliant accounts clerk, dedicated trade union activist, committed husband, loving father, loyal friend, and above all, great human being.
Mr. Natta was born in Tabernacle Village, St. Kitts on April 8, 1946. His family eventually migrated to Basseterre where he attended the St. Kitts-Nevis Grammar School (now the Basseterre High School). Ever mindful of his civic duty, Mr. Natta served his country honourably as a sargeant in the St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force. He worked for many years as a civil servant, where he served as a senior clerk at the Parcel Post and Treasury departments in St. Kitts. In his later years, Mr. Natta worked as an accounts clerk for the Jenkins Construction Company. He was also a devout Methodist and an active member of the Hope Chapel Methodist Church on George Street in New Town.
William Marcus Natta passed away on November 4, 1992 after a courageous battle with cancer. His devotion, acumen, and integrity were a blessing to his family, friends, and anyone who was privileged to know him.
